Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Field Engineer Black Trades Line Walks

Job responsibilities:

•    Conduct thorough line walks and assess the current status of maintenance scopes.
•    Document observations and create punch lists in the Plant Information Management System (PIMS).

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Minimum of a trade certificate; additional education such as MSc, BSc, or Technical College is preferred.
•    Extensive relevant experience as a foreman or field engineer may compensate for formal education.
•    Proficiency in field engineering is advantageous.
•    Strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, backed by field experience.
•    Familiarity with PIMS is a plus.
•    Comprehensive knowledge of piping equipment and installation requirements, particularly in offshore environments.
•    Prioritize Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) protocols to ensure safe installation practices.
•    Must be available to work in Norway.
•    Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, with a collaborative approach.

Duration: Until 15th June 2024
Rotation: Possibility of 15/20-daytime rotation.
