Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Engineer EIT – Electrical (and instrument / Telecom) 26750

Job responsibilities:

•    Review and verify the design outlined in FC-30105-000-A04-EN.pdf.
•    Check engineering and vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness, providing feedback to suppliers on any missing information or discrepancies.
•    Ensure the construction method is properly incorporated into EIT shop engineering.
•    Break down work packages to optimize production efficiency.
•    Confirm the location, installation, and HSSE-friendly design in the 3D model (PDMS).
•    Monitor and ensure that DCNs (Design Change Notices) are correctly implemented in the work packages.
•    Develop and prepare EIT work packages.
•    Verify interfaces with all relevant disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning teams.
•    Consistently work towards high HSSE performance standards.
•    Manage interfaces related to IT/IS for engineering registers, E3D/Navis, and MIPS.
•    Coordinate across all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning departments.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education with appropriate experience.
•    Proficient in using DAK tools and possessing strong general computer skills.
•    Familiarity with “as-built” drawings and mechanical interface drawings.
•    Experience in creating EIT work packages.
•    Knowledge of NORSOK standards and experience in oil and gas projects.
•    EX basic certification valid for Norway.
•    FSE certification (annual update required).
•    Strong communication skills in Norwegian (preferred) and English.

Software Proficiency:

•    MS Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Planner, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint)
•    MIPS
•    E3D
