Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Electrical – Senior Engineer 26929.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and verify electrical installations.
• Act as the Package Responsible Engineer (PRE).
• Define and design heat trace requirements based on P&IDs.
• Prepare, review, and approve Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Prepare, review, and approve technical requisitions.
• Oversee and follow up with vendors.
• Enter data into the engineering registry.
• Develop engineering work packages.
• Coordinate and interface with other disciplines.
• Conduct site surveys.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Qualifications:

• Basic EX Course (Digital 6-8 hours or 22.5 hours in classroom).
• FSE High and Low Voltage with First Aid.
• Skills / familiar with STID and Procosys
• Offshore Course valid for Norway (Or willing to attend / cover if not)
• Offshore Medical
• Experience with heat tracing calculations
• Experience as PRE – >Package Responsible Engineer NCS
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering for large-scale modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Familiarity with electrical design standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
• Experience working with Equinor technical requirements (TRs), STID, and Procosys.
