Snøhvit Future Phases (SFP) is a project in the execution phase and a project in the Hammerfest LNG (HAM) portfolio. The scope for the project is to electrify the plant with power from the grid and to install a new booster compressor as well as a new emergency power system. The project consists of several projects which all are in the execution phase with Aibel in Asker as the main engineering contractor. 

Job responsibilities:

•    We are looking for a Senior Electrical engineer with competence and experience from following up electrical packages in large complex oil and gas projects where your tasks will be to: 
•    Follow up and guide contractor in the electrical design in modules and substations 
•    Follow up deliverables on electrical packages such as; 400/690 V Switchboards, HV/LV transformers and bulk equipment 
•    Follow up electrical deliverables on mechanical packages 
•    Participate in package inspections and FAT’s

Your qualifications:

•    Master/Bachelor of Science within electrical power engineering (Elkraftteknikk) 
•    Minimum 7-10 years’ relevant experience 
•    Project experience from electrical package follow up and area design 
•    Multi-discipline understanding 
•    Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably the firm’s technical requirements 
•    Ability to work in a team 
•    High ethical standards and adherence to the firm’s ethical requirements 
•    Ability to handle high work loads 
•    Travels are foreseen 

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
