Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Electrical Lead 27383.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead for an exciting carbon capture project in Easter Norway. In this role, you will be a key technical resource, supporting the client in monitoring and following up on electrical work, with a focus on high-voltage systems and project execution.

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Monitor and follow up on engineering, fabrication, testing, and installation activities of supply of 11kV supply to WtE, from Elvia (new transformer station planned) and EPCIC contractor, to ensure project alignment 
•    Advise and support client in matters related to electrical power, primarily high voltage 
•    Day-to-day coordination with other disciplines 
•    Support in reviewing and approving design solutions together with Clients Engineering team 
•    Oversee design, development, and implementation of agreed solutions 
•    Change management, follow up any changes or variations 
•    Take part in risk and opportunity management 
•    Reports to Engineering manager

Qualifications, experience and skills:
•    Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering 
•    In-depth knowledge of industry standards, rules, regulations. 
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience from large and complex EPCIC projects with discipline experience for phases of engineering, construction and completion 
•    Proactive personality with a multi-discipline and holistic understanding of the discipline and the discipline’s role in a large project 
•    Physical attendance at the described work locations 
•    Good verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English
