Job responsibilities:

•    Follow up on electrical procurement packages.
•    Coordinate with suppliers and review documents and drawings.
•    Provide engineering input to job packages.
•    Update "as-built" supplier drawings and handle red-line mark-ups from offshore.
•    Take responsibility for electrical system engineering for LV consumers and switchboards.
•    Perform electrical calculations, including short circuit calculations.
•    Report important matters to the Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
•    Ensure quality and compliance with HSSE requirements in your projects.
•    Identify changes and contribute to change requests.
•    Conduct offshore surveys and provide support in: 
    o    General field instrumentation engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, and Fire & Gas systems engineering.
    o    Layout design, cable dimensioning, and technical calculations.
    o    Technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages.
    o    Preparation of material take-off (MTOs) and requisitions.
    o    Development of installation job cards and contributions to other disciplines.
    o    Coordination and collaboration with suppliers and clients.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Relevant education (MSc, BSc, Technical College, or equivalent experience).
•    At least 3 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
•    Experience in Norway and knowledge of NORSOK standards.
•    EX and FSE certification, along with Ex/Atex experience.
•    Solid knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
•    Proven experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
•    Competence in updating tags and drawings ("as-built").
•    Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
•    Experience in estimation work and activity planning.
•    Familiarity with project-specific software.
•    Proficiency in Norwegian (preferred) and English.
