Planning Centre Exploration is responsible for planning of all drilling exploration wells in Drilling & Well. 

Job responsibilities:

The Engineer will be responsible for supporting into detailed planning of a Drill Stem Test (DST) or injection tests for one or several exploration wells with a planned spud 2024, including offshore operational execution as well test engineer during the test phase. The engineer shall (but not limited to): 

• Provide the detailed planning for execution of drill stem test(s) as decided by Company 
• Support and follow-up of ongoing daily operations, onshore and offshore 
• Perform experience transfer and well reporting 
• Work in teams with other disciplines and with external suppliers 
• Experience with HPHT operation is an advantage 
• Perform risk assessment, prepare detailed operational procedures, evaluate and recommend required equipment 
• The job is onshore but some offshore job are expected

Your experience and qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor degree within relevant discipline and minimum 5-10 years of experience, including test planning and recent operational/offshore execution experience. 
• Valid IWCF and offshore health certificate .
• Good skills in English both oral and written
• Team builder where co-operation and team work is essential 
• A structured approach with regard to planning, coordinating and executing activities 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks 
• Performance driven and commercial mind-set 
• Good communication and analytical skills 
• Ability to live by «I am safety» expectations 
• A lean mindset
