Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Discipline Lead Safety & Environment 25641.

Job responsibilities:
–  Plan and execute Safety & Environment deliverables in studies.
–  Develop and update safety philosophies and strategies.
–  Evaluate impact on technical safety systems, equipment, area classification, fire protection, escape, and evacuation.
–  Assess risk levels for various solutions, including qualitative analysis.
–  Prepare safety design reviews, including HAZID and HSE/Layout reviews. 
–  Perform additional tasks as required in the scope of the role.

Your experience and qualifications:
–  Minimum 10 years of relevant technical safety engineering experience in the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or a related field.
–  In-depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations, NORSOK S-001, and S-002.
–  Familiarity with other relevant industry standards.
–  A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science or engineering-related field.
–  Proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
–  Strong communication and cooperation skills with a proactive approach.
–  Ability to work independently.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
