As a coastal grid operator this company is obliged to connect the offshore wind farms, which are erected by wind farm operators in the sea, to the extra-high voltage grid. To this end the company is constructing a transformer station onshore to feed the wind farm output into the higher-level transmission grid, a 220 kV submarine cable to transport the energy from sea to land and a seaward transformer platform to collect the energy generated offshore. The offshore platform to be erected will be planned as part of a work package by an organization responsible for this and manufactured and installed by a subcontractor. The ACO department designated for this purpose is looking for a "Expert Secondary Systems" in the project portfolio and the associated work package transformer platform.

Job responsibilities:

•    Quality assurance with respect to the contractual scope of work of the secondary systems using the internal QS system 
•    Witnessing of the relevant suppliers activities during the installation and commissioning of the secondary equipment 
•    Enforcement of the client's interests and requirements during the daily installation and commissioning activities on the basis of contract documents 
•    daily progress reporting 
•    Organisation of operational coordination with internal/external construction site personnel involved in the daily commissioning work 
•    Identification of HSE related non-conformities with the written procedures Contribute to the improvement of the HSE system 
•    Participation in construction activities on the secondary systems during commissioning, troubleshooting / repair, reliability testing including documentation of the associated results Updating of snag lists with employees of the supplier 
•    Checking of documents to clarify technical questions and to prepare for acceptance tests (e.g. supplier quality plan, test plan, parameter sheets, contents of acceptance reports, templates for acceptance procedures). 
•    Participation in partial or final acceptances in the factory, in the ship-yard and offshore Documentation and reporting on the results and progress of the com-missioning of secondary systems 
•    Documentation of safety patrols Transfer of knowledge into the company 
•    Stay informed of the HSE system and the procedures relevant to the function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements de-fined therein. 
•    Obliged to react on observed nonconformities to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the system 
•    Stay informed of the QA system and the procedures relevant to the function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements de-fined therein 
•    Monitor and coordinate the implementation of applicable issues from the permit. Stay informed on applicable updates of the permits. 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    University degree in electrical engineering (Master or Diploma). 
•    5+ years of experience in integration and testing of components and devices in electrical systems, preferably onshore. 
•    Knowledge of specific rules and regulations, e.g. DIN VDE, IEC, Onshore Codes DNVGL 
•    Willingness to travel domestically and abroad as well as basic onshore suitability. 
•    Experience in LV-cabling and onshore instrumentation wiring for protection and control technology. 
•    Experience in carrying out commissioning of secondary technical components / signal tests. 
•    GWO training 
•    Experience in LV and communication wiring for protection and control technology 
•    Experience in the creation of IP and data point lists 
•    Experience in the implementation of commissioning of secondary technical components 
•    Good written and spoken German (B2) and English 
•    

Testing: 

•    Experience with tests on grid control and grid protection technology Visual inspection of secondary cabinets 
•    Labeling inspection 
•    Terminal testing 
•    Documentation check 
•    Functional tests 
•    Signal check 
•    Measured value test 
•    Test system with remote interfaces Synchronous measured value test Protectionsystem test (field protection) CTIVT transformer tests 
•    Ex erience Commission in tests 

All tasks to be performed by the contractor generally include minor wiring adjustments, documentation adjustments to the respective construction site sets as well as drawing checks and handwritten drawing revisions of the construction site set and must be considered. 

This includes: 

•    Reserve conductor searches from cables that have already been laid and installed. 
•    Wire connections to existing terminals, 
•    Revision in the set of documentation onsite.
