We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS safety system design.  

Job responsibilities:

•    System Design, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed by automation team lead
•    Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and at required detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketch input)
•    Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, for integration of SIS systems.
•    Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
•    Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
•    Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
•    Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client 
•    Offshore survey may be required

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Required education Bachelor or higher
•    Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects  
•    Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation and SIS system design, including experience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system.
•    Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC 
•    Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – Both orally and in writing
•    Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment 
•    Ability to work independently as well as in team 
•    Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 
•    Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Required Certificates:

•    FSE-course, valid through the engagement
•    Ex-course, valid through the engagement
