Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Advanced Project Completion Engineer 27757.

The Commissioning System Lead – Electrical is responsible for providing direction, guidance and supervision during completion and commissioning activities related to the project. 

Job responsibilities:
•    System lead electro for the Fixed Facilities Alliance (FFA). 
•    Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements are carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all Aker BP’s project and operational requirements. Including verification and assurance.  
•    Be part of the site team in connection with necessary preparations, check-out and power-up (FSE). 
•    Be responsible in connection with preparations work and energizing temporary equipment, e.g., temporary generators. 
•    Be responsible for establishing and verifying the LUN for all EIT equipment, with subsequent activation and check-out of electrical equipment ahead of dynamic commissioning. 
•    Be responsible for the overall status of all electrical equipment such as switchboards, incomers, MCC, starters, etc. 
•    Be part of the commissioning certification and handover process for ensuring safe and efficient handover to Operations upon completion of commissioning.  

Organization / Leadership 
•    Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning electro team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve company’s expectations. 
•    Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs. 
•    When required act as deputy for the site commissioning EICT lead during the commissioning phases. 

Your experience and qualifications:
•    BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience. 
•    Experience from Valhall's operations is of great benefit. 
•    Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills 
•    Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems 
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 
•    Knowledge of the products from the main supplier of electrical equipment. 
•    Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning technicians.
