The Commissioning Lead – P&U is responsible for providing direction, guidance and supervision during completion and commissioning activities related to the Hugin B project.

Job responsibilities:

•    Commissioning Lead – P&U for the Fixed Facilities Alliance (FFA).
•    Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements are carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all companies project and operational requirements. Including verification and assurance.  
•    Be part of the site team in connection with necessary preparations, check-out and leak testing.
•    Responsible for commissioning of process and utility systems, crane, lifeboat, safety equipment, etc.  
•    Responsible for all necessary planning, preparations and check-out related to N2He leak testing.  
•    Responsible for a safe and efficient handover of P&U systems to Operations.
•    Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve companies expectations. 
•    Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs. 
•    When required act as the site commissioning authority during the commissioning phases

Your experience and qualifications:

•    BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience. 
•    Experience from Valhall's operations is of great benefit.
•    Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills 
•    Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems 
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 
•    Knowledge of the products from the main supplier of electrical equipment. 
•    Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning technicians.
