Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Project Manager.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage and control the project in accordance with the project contract and project charter
• Develop and manage internal and external stakeholders to the project
• Manage, control and report project financial results
• Be a good presenter and manage client expectations and reporting
• Manage and control the project scope, quality and risks
• Ensuring Project plans and progress is followed and mitigating actions developed
• Support on tendering of new projects
• Support Project Manager to develop and drive the commercial  strategy in the project to maximize the financial outcome project. 
• Project financial reporting and follow-up - responsible for Project financial reporting, in cooperation with cost controller
• Risk Management – responsible for establish and maintain the risk register and follow up to ensure that mitigating action are taken to reduce the risk
• Predictable forecasting – ensure predictability in all matters relating to business, commercial and contractual performance of the contract
• Change management – overall responsible to manage commercial changes in the project and play an active role to monitor, pursue and secure variation orders with client.
• Contract management - establish and drive the contractual strategy in the project.
• Follow up performance of contract and commercial relations with subcontractor and suppliers
• Cash – follow up to secure a positive cash flow in the project
• Cost awareness – promote and drive cost awareness throughout the project organization

We expect the correct candidate to have experience with running larger EPC Offshore projects around the world, with the seniority to manage all aspects of the project. We would like to engage positive and dedicated co-worker who have the ability to work independently as well as develop performance teams. It is important that you have excellent cooperation skills and the ability to structure your work. Experience with Process Packages for Oil and gas is an advantage.

It is a requirement that you are proficient in oral and written Norwegian and English language.

If you are a Project Manager with an engineering background and have minimum 10 years of experience with EPC topside process modules or similar fields we would like to hear from you.

If you have a Business degree,-with working experience in EPC project or an Engineering degree with Commercial mindset and experience we would like to hear from you

It is important that you have excellent cooperation skills and the ability to structure your work. Good communication skills in English are essential for the role. We expect the right candidate have more than 8 years of experience in a relevant position.
