Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Structural PDE 23996.

Job responsibilities:

–  Technical assistance on specification and follow-up of structural procurement packages.
–  Assistance to other disciplines PDEs on the evaluation of the structural content on other procurement packaged with regards to compliance with functional and technical requirements
–  Structural analysis experience
–  Lifting/Transport analysis experience
–  NORSOK & DNV offshore codes

Your qualifications:

–  Experienced structural engineer
–  Good knowledge of NORSOK structural codes
–  Lifting equipment calculations (particularly for offshore lifts
–  Ability to evaluate and check the adequacy of the design of a structure provided by a supplier (e.g. the transport skid for an equipment).
–  Perform calculations and analyses during the check process, so good skills in hand calculations and analysis tools (Genie or STAAD) are necessary
–  Good communication skills are needed (will have to interface continuously with other disciplines and vendors).

Education:
–  MSc or BSc In Structural Engineering
–  Long experience

SoftWare Skills:
–  Genie
–  STAAD

Language:
–  English
