Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Structural Engineer 24030.

Subsea Fabrication projects, spools and subsea structurers as PLEM, PLETS and PLRS for Installation Contractors.

Job responsibilities:
–  Be part of subsea fabrication project to fabricate and deliver subsea spools and structures for Installation Contractors from several clients.
–  Take responsibility for making and preparing work packages for production from design drawings given by client. 
–  Prepare drawings for fabrication in Microstation.
–  Identify discrepancies or opportunities in design drawings that needs clarification with client. 
–  Identify parts and give them Pos numbers and create a MTO.
–  Making procurement request and machining, roller service an steel material. 
–  Numbering of welds, creating weld test logs
–  Create cutting sketches for plates and profiles
–  Compile documentation in Job packs for production.

Your qualifications:
–  Highly skilled and professional
–  Experience with steel design and construction.
–  Familiar with company system and internal procedure for welding and cutting sketches. 
–  Familiar with company IFS data warehouse
–  Deliver consistent, efficient and high-quality work
–  Be able to work independently 
–  Languages: Norwegian and English.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit.
