Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Process Engineer – Compressor system design. Required location: Asker 

The project comprises a new unmanned offshore platform in the NCS, detail engineering phase.

You will execute tasks related to the gas compression system and there may be need to take on a System Responsible Engineer role for this system.

We are looking for a Process Engineer who has experience in detail engineering as well as experienced with gas compression system design.

Job responsibilities:

•    Follow up the compressor vendor (, compressor curves, torque, vendor P&IDs, line list, valve list, interfaces etc.)
•    Follow up and resolve HAZOP actions
•    Follow up compressor sequences (start-up/shut-down etc.)
•    Travelling to the compressor vendor site if required
•    Process simulations (UNISIM/HYSYS)

Work closely with the:
•    Package engineer
•    Client representative
•    Other process system responsible engineers (e.g. flare, seawater)
•    Other relevant disciplines
 

Required Work Experience:

•    Minimum 8 years working experience from engineering (FEED and/or detail engineering)
•    Working experience with Greenfield or Brownfield projects on NCS or Norwegian onshore O&G facilities
•    Detail knowledge in NCS requirements (NORSOK, Ptil/PSA)
•    Experience with process simulations (UNISIM/HYSYS)
•    Detail knowledge of compressor systems
•    Experience with follow-up of a centrifugal compressor vendor
•    Experience as a System Responsible Engineer is preferrable

•    MSc with required experience
•    Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
•    Multidiscipline understanding
•    Good communication skills
•    Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
•    Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
•    Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
