Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Engineer Instrumentation to work in a large EPC greenfield project 24329.

The right candidate will join a major new build project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within electrical systems and package follow-up in a large international project-working environment:

Job responsibilities:

• Field instrumentation and control valve solutions and requirements
• Develop technical specifications and prepare relevant documentation for ITT preparation
• Follow up Instrument vendors and vendor technical documentation
• FAT and vendor survey
• Review of vendor technical documentation
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
• Interface to other disciplines and suppliers

Your qualifications:

• Education Bachelor degree
• Ex course
• FSE course
• Minimum 8 years’ experience from field instrumentation and control valves engineering in greenfield offshore oil and gas or offshore wind projects
• Minimum 5 years’ Experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from greenfield projects
• Experience and deep knowledge of instrumentation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
• Have good communication skills
• Have a cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Innovative approach and a network builder
• Fluent English skills – both orally and in writing

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
