Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a SENIOR ENGINEER – ROTATING MACHINERY, GAS COMPRESSOR MODIFICATION

Job responsibilities:

• Follow Company’s work processes in ARIS.
• Contribute to study reports, technical requisitions, design basis.
• Creating presentations in PowerPoint.
• Participate in development and selection of modification concepts.
• Calculating / assessing compressor performance.
• Evaluation of compressor thermodynamic and mechanical design and comparing with Company’s compressor pool.
• Evaluation of technical risk and compensating measures.
• Participating in HAZID and HAZOP.
• Document control in PIMS, ensure correct and necessary information is included.
• LCI, ensure project documentation is published in Company’s document database STID.
• Assessing spare part needs, and create basis for updating SPIR and SAP with new part list structure.
• Follow up vendor deliveries.
• Participate on FAT and assessing its results; HSB, Performance test, Mechanical run, rotor dynamic response,

Your qualifications:

• Experiences in compressor commissioning, such as:  Mechanical running test, Performance test, Surge test
• Good knowledge of programs such as :Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Basic knowledge of  Aspen Process Explorer, PI Process Book
• Knowledge of other standards as ASTM, API, ISO, NORSOK relevant for centrifugal compressors, rotating equipment and Company technical requirements is beneficial.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
