Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Engineer – Production Control System 24304.

Job responsibilities:
–  Provide technical and engineering support to internal and external customers on dedicated offshore field. 
–  Provide engineering support to subsea control system testing and commissioning, both onshore and offshore. 
–  Define technical scopes of work required for the maintenance, repair, refurbishment and upgrade of control systems. 
–  Day-to-day follow-up of technical activities related to areas of responsibility like testing, commissioning, maintenance and general field support. 
–  Continual contact with Line Managers and Project Managers regarding technical issues related to offshore/service activities.

Your qualifications:
–  Knowledge of network routing philosophies and network diagnostics for trouble shooting of communications between network nodes is a major advantage. 
–  Cyber Security knowledge related to overall network and system security, and the security of Industrial Automation and Control Systems is an advantage. 
–  Understanding of mechanical/hydraulic systems and electrical systems used in Subsea Production Control Systems. 
–  Knowledge of engineering practices and relevant hands-on experience of the planning, engineering and testing processes. 
–  Ability to delegate tasks and activities and seek support from a team of technical experts. 
–  Conversant with requirements of various oil and gas equipment codes and standards such as API 17 (Subsea) etc.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit.
