Job responsibilities:

•    We are looking for proactive and self-driven Senior Design Engineer, Mechanical to Product Engineering team. In this position you would be in our headquarters in Vaasa, Finland. Other office locations in Finland can also be considered.
•    We are looking for proactive and self-driven Senior Design Engineer, Mechanical to Product Engineering team. 
•    A typical customer project can be design and product development of engine related parts, lifting tools or auxiliary equipment. The projects themselves include different stages from conceptualization of solutions and modelling to producing manufacturing documentation. 
•    Knowledge and experience of sheet metal design, castings and different machining processes and additive manufacturing is a benefit to success with your duties.
•    In this role, you will be in close cooperation with our local customers and would have an independent role with the support of the team close-by.

Your qualifications:

•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
•    Work experience in similar tasks for at least 3 – 5 years
•    Strong Siemens NX and Teamcenter design tool skills, Catia experience seen as an advantage.
•    Strong organizing and problem-solving skills
•    Fluent communication in Finnish or Swedish and in English and good social skills
•    Interesting work in close connection with our customers
•    Chance for professional development as well as possibility to move to more demanding assignments.
