Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background in Oil & Gas, Process Plants or related industries with a detailed knowledge of the mechanisms required to manage engineering services contracts and construction contracts in the field, right through to completion and final account and have knowledge of quantity surveying as a past or current practitioner.’

Job responsibilities:

• Control engineering services contracts, construction contracts project operations and co-ordination of interface activities with other task force members in accordance with applicable company and project requirements, systems, procedures, budgets and schedules. As applicable additionally, suitably trained and qualified personnel will be required to execute quantity surveying duties in accordance with applicable practices and procedures
• Working in the field construction contracts operations to ensure a consistent and business-like approach
• Preparation and control of tender/contract documents to be used for the selection and appointment of contractors for work or services or estimating on the project
• Actively promote effective communication and relations with contractors and all other interfacing departments and disciplines in carrying out the assigned duties

Your qualifications:

• Relevant experience in Sub – contracts and Quantity surveying works for Refineries, Oil and Gas industries, like Pre – FEED and FEED projects
• Knowledge of FIDIC terms and conditions
• Previous experience of working on a refinery project preferred
• Communication and Co – ordination skills
• Good Computer skills
