Job responsibilities:

•    Lead and coordinate procurement package teams, ensuring that assigned procurement packages and bulk materials align with project targets, guidelines, and processes.
•    Develop, implement, and oversee procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
•    Manage supplier pre-qualification, prepare inquiries, evaluate tenders, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and track the delivery of equipment, materials, and related documentation. Handle changes, warranties, invoices, and finalize close-out procedures.
•    Maintain active collaboration and communication with engineering and integration departments.
•    Report project progress, costs, schedules, risks, and opportunities to the Procurement Manager following established project reporting routines.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Relevant education such as MSc, BSc, Technical College, or equivalent background and experience.
•    Strong analytical mindset with a structured and methodical approach.
•    Commercially oriented with solid technical understanding.
•    Proficient in contract management and familiar with contractual processes.
•    Excellent negotiation abilities.
•    Upholds high ethical standards and integrity.
•    Highly motivated, proactive, and dedicated.
•    Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
•    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
•    7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
•    Must be eligible to work in Norway.
•    Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
