Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Safety & Environment Engineer Technical Safety    27325

Job responsibilities:

•    Plan and execute technical safety deliverables within projects.
•    Develop and update safety philosophies and strategies.
•    Prepare design specifications, detailed engineering, and reports for technical safety systems/equipment, area classification, shutdown procedures, fire & gas detection, fire protection, escape, and evacuation.
•    Create and update safety documents and drawings.
•    Provide input for procurement packages and coordinate with suppliers.
•    Assess risk levels for various solutions, including qualitative and quantitative analyses.
•    Plan and conduct safety design reviews such as HAZID, safety assessments, and ALARP evaluations.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

•    MSc, BSc, Technical College degree, or other relevant education and experience.
•    At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical safety engineering within the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or a related field.
•    Strong knowledge of Norwegian regulations, including NORSOK S-001 and S-002.
•    Familiarity with other relevant industry standards.
•    Proactive mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Must be available to work in Norway.
•    Fluent in Norwegian and English; team player, communicative, outgoing, and hands-on.
