Job responsibilities:
 •    Monitor, analyze and report project cost performance against monthly project reporting, MPP (manpower project plan), PMP (procurement milestone plan), other plan activities, risk register, underlying contracts and approved baseline. 
•    Track committed, actual and forecasted costs including periodization of cost. 
•    Support the cost team in preparing cash flow plans, currency exposure and cost forecasts at different project stages. 
•    Collaborate and engage with the project organization to ensure robust cost forecasts, understand data requirements and data accuracy, and input and assessment to baseline updates. 
•    Lead baseline review processes and updates every six months. Participate in cost risk evaluations and cost risk analyses. 
•    Establish invoice control routines and perform invoice control. 
•    Participate in detecting cost deviations, assessment and quantifying the cost impact of project changes, variation orders to contracts, claims and recommending corrective actions as necessary. 
•    Collaborate and engage with engineering, procurement and construction teams, and plan and risk responsible, to ensure alignment with project plan, risk and cost development. 
•    Assist the project organization and project owner with required analysis, cost estimation and project and strategic cost reviews as required. 
•    Evaluate total cost estimate including contingency and management reserve relative to P50 | P85 levels and validate against actual and expected project progress. 
•    Ensure reporting according to the State Support Agreement, prepare and update project routines, continued development of the cost reporting process, etc. 

Your experience and qualifications:
•    Documented experience and interest in project cost controlling and estimation. 
•    8+ years experience in cost control within large-scale CAPEX projects. 
•    Advanced excel and data analytics for cost modelling and forecasting. 
•    Ability to interpret engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts from a cost perspective. 
•    Strong understanding of cost and change control. 
•    Physical attendance at the described work locations. 
•    Self driven, analytical and communicate easily with all parts of an organization both orally and in writing (power point / word). 
•    Team player with good verbal and written skills in Norwegian and English.
