Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Piping / Material Handling Engineer 26097.

Job responsibilities:
•    Perform activities related to material handling of equipment, lifting appliance selection, lifting studies, plan the use of lifting equipment such as pedestal cranes, traverse cranes, winches, hoists etc .Using E3D
•    Material handling report

Your experience and qualifications:
•    Bachelor in engineering
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in Piping and Layout in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab, and Installation Follow-on, as well as As-Built phases in Norway Extensive EPC new construction/brownfield experience Documented experience in preparing material handling reports using E3D/PDMS, 3D, CAD, or EQP tools Some offshore and/or fabrication experience is preferred,
•    Have multidiscipline knowledge and act proactive, seeking advice/share experience in design processes.
•    Cooperative working attitude and participate/present tasks in design reviews.
•    Layout and design based on NorSok and TRs and have loyalty to project organisation, deadlines and requirements.
•    Intercultural competence and acceptance for multicultural working teams.
•    Good communication skills, both in Norwegian and English – oral and in writing.
