Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Piping engineer – Discipline Task Responsible (DTR)

Job responsibilities:

• Take the helm in managing and coordinating all tasks within the piping discipline, driving forward innovation and efficiency in every project phase.
• Bring your creativity to life through the design and 3D modeling of intricate piping systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Craft area layouts and 3D models of equipment, estimating piping activities with precision to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Embark on offshore surveys as required, gaining firsthand insights and collaborating closely with project teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Foster strong communication channels with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded at every turn.
• Harmonize interfaces with other disciplines, orchestrating seamless coordination to achieve project success.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Whether you hold an MSc, BSc, or technical college degree, we're looking for individuals with a passion for excellence and a drive to succeed.
• Bring your experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the dynamic challenges of the North Sea.
• Navigate through site surveys, expertly routing pipes and locating tie-in positions to ensure a clash-free design that sets the standard for excellence.
• Master of PDMS/E3D and general computer technology, with a proven track record in piping design that sets you apart from the rest.
• Knowledgeable in governing regulations and standards such as ASME, NORSOK, etc., ensuring compliance and best practices are upheld.
• Hold a valid offshore certificate and be ready to embark on exciting projects in the Norwegian landscape.
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
