Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Nightshift HSSE Advisor

Job responsibilities:

• The Nightshift HSSE Advisor will assist the Site HSSE Manager in delivering a world – class safety performance on the project.
• You will be expected to work closely with the various construction contractors to ensure their understanding of, and performance against, the requirements of the project HSSE Management System.
• A large proportion of the Project involves work in the operating refinery, so a solid base of 'brownfield' experience is a key requirement.

Your qualifications:

• A good standard of spoken / written English
• Experience of Swedish Health & Safety legislation (preferred) or similar European legislation (essential) 
• Good communication skills when working with multi – disciplined, multi – national teams
• A good understanding of cultural sensitivities and an open, inclusive and collaborative attitude
• The ability and desire to engage with and coach construction operatives in safe work practices, etc
   
• Possess a formal health and safety qualification, for example, NEBOSH Diploma
• Possess a formal environmental management qualification (preferred) or be able to demonstrate a good awareness of the topic
• Have good experience of working in a similar role within the oil & gas (or similar) industry

The required will be experienced in the use of:

• Live – plant and construction Permit to Work systems
• Implementation and day to day operation of the project Permit to Work system for all construction activities
• Ensuring activities are undertaken in accordance with the applicable project and company procedures
• Behavioral based safety systems
• Web – based data management systems
• OSHA Recordkeeping requirements
• Basic computer skills, (e.g., comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite, e – mail, etc.)

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Sweden or Norway with valid work permit
