Job responsibilities:

Lead umbilical engineering team during project execution and ensure compliance to Client specifications and Company work processes:

• Plan Design reviews and review compliance towards contract, specifications and requirements, being final approver and decision maker
• OTQD achievement, BOM, MDL & non-MDL activities
• Scope definition (MEL) and control
• Ensure Interfaces are acquired and provided according to schedule needs.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
• Plan and monitor engineering resource needs

Mentor and coach engineers to develop overall capability:

• Proactively gain and share knowledge/experience within team and/or department
• Setting up clear goals for project team
• Leadership in terms of delegation and monitoring, feedback, and motivation

Your qualifications:

• Master of Science degree within relevant professional field
• Minimum 5 years experience with subsea projects and applications
• Knowledge of subsea products, codes and standards; ISO, API, NORSOK, DNV etc.
• Capability of leading, inspiring, and motivating team throughout project execution
• Commercial and improvement mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks both as a team member and individually
• Focus on delivering according to plan and quality
• Have analytical skills to verify calculations and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, building client relations
• SoftWare skills: SAP
• Language skills Description: English
• Candidates need to live in Norway or have valid work permit.
