Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Instrument Engineer

Job responsibilities:

•    Discipline task responsible (DTR) or leading engineers.
•    Follow up on Instrument Procurement Packages.
•    Coordinate with suppliers, review documents and drawings.
•    Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
•    As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups from offshore.
•    Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
•    Ensure Quality and HSSE in own projects.
•    Identify changes and input to change requests.
•    Conduct offshore surveys.
•    General field instrument engineering, system, automation, and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning, field instrumentation and valves, technical procurement activities (as PRD), MTOs and requisitions, installation job-cards, collaboration with suppliers and clients.
 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Leadership experience.
•    Minimum 5 years in the oil and gas industry.
•    Strong knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
•    Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and creating as-builts for tags and drawings.
•    Skilled in estimation and activity planning.
•    Associate Degree, Vocational school, BSc, or MSc.
•    Excellent communication skills in English, proactive, and collaborative.
•    Strong communication skills and a team player.
•    Offshore certification is required for this position.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
