Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a HVAC System Design Engineer

Job responsibilities:

•    Designing and developing HVAC systems for complex offshore installations (platforms, FPSOs, etc.).
•    Performing relevant HVAC system calculations.
•    Developing HVAC instruments and flow diagrams.
•    Utilizing and developing database/design tools (specific tool training will be provided).
•    Collaborating and interfacing with other project team members, subcontractors/vendors, and client personnel as necessary.
•    Participating in Front End studies, system design, and equipment procurement during the EPCi phase.
•    Designing equipment and developing procurement packages in close cooperation with suppliers.
•    Coordinating across multiple disciplines within the project team.
•    Leading procurement packages and ensuring proper follow-up with suppliers.
•    Developing installation methods.
•    Participating in testing and equipment installation.
•    Ensuring quality input and controlling technical data and job preparation.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
•    In-depth knowledge of applicable Norwegian regulations and standards.
•    Familiarity with equipment such as air handling units, ducting, water cooling systems, heating systems, DX units, or sanitary/utility systems.
•    Strong skills in relevant calculations and/or 3D modeling.
•    Experience in evaluating, specifying, and technically overseeing cooling/refrigeration and ventilation systems.
•    Strong command of both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
•    Solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
•    Proficiency in Mips and Time. Familiarity with Autocad, Microstation, and E3D/PDMS is advantageous.
•    Ability to work independently and meticulously, as well as collaboratively within a team.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
