Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a resource for HSE Advisor-Projects.

Job responsibilities:

–  Providing professional support and advice ensuring that the project follows Company requirements and industry best practice in HSE matters
–  Implement and maintain the project HSE activity plans and continually monitor, update and communicate the plan
–  Contribute to the project meeting project objectives, regulatory and company requirements and appropriate industry standards
–  Supporting commissioning activities
–  Identification of project HSE requirements
–  Identification of HSE risk and opportunities
–  Prepare and implement HSE activity plans
–  Ensure that HSE risk assessments are adequately and timely carried out
–  Ensure follow up of HAZID, HAZOPs and other risk assessments
–  Ensure that verification activities are duly planned and carried out
–  Participate in audits and inspections
–  Prepare reports on HSE performance
–  Follow up of HSE incidents incl. investigations
–  Participate and drive cross discipline HSE initiatives
–  Participate in procurement and tendering activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
–  Assess implementation of contractors' management system
–  HSE follow up of contractor
–  Support handling of nonconformities and deviations
–  Support Emergency preparedness
–  Support security assessments, preparation of project security plan and follow-up of security mitigating measures
–  Give professional support and advice to project personnel
–  Coordinate and liase with project Safety & Sustainability team.

Your qualifications:

–  Bachelor grad eller Cand. Mag (180-240 studiepoeng) or other relevant education
–  Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
–  Minimum 6-9 years of experience.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit.
