Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Group lead – Utility systems, Required Location: ASKER 

Job responsibilities:

The project comprises a new unmanned offshore platform in the NCS. The project is at the start of detail engineering phase. Topside will be designed without helideck, firewater and LQ. Access to the platform is via an SOV (support operating vessel). All valves are electric operated. Focus is to design the process systems simple with high degree of robustness and low maintenance need. Chemicals and some utilities (e.g. lean TEG and MEG) are supplied via the nearby platform.

•    You will as a Group lead for the utility systems report to the Process Discipline Lead
•    You will lead a team of 5-10 Process engineers and be responsible for the deliverables for this team.

We are looking for candidates with:

•    Working experience in detail engineering
•    Experience in leading teams of engineers
•    Strong competence in utility systems
•    Ability and interest in inspiring and supporting people to deliver at their best
•    A special focus on right quality and on time delivery

Tasks:

•    You shall ensure that the team secures the overall functionality of the utility systems.
•    Identify need for meetings and reviews.
•    Resource planning
•    Participate in interviews
•    Participate in HAZOP, reviews, support the team members.

Your qualifications:

•    MSc or BSc with required experience
•    Establish good relations with the Client.
•    Solution oriented
•    Multidiscipline understanding
•    Good communication skills
•    Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
•    Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
•    Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
