Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a GEOSCIENTIST WELL EXECUTION

Our team consists of personnel working in the Geo Operations Center (GOC) following the execution phase of development wells. The center is manned 24/7 with personnel on a shift schedule position on fixed terms.

Job responsibilities:

• 24/7 responsibility for geo operational follow up of wells in the execution phase. Included drilling of overburden and responsible for Geo steering in the reservoir.
• Collaborate on a wide range of tasks in close communication with Client Representative, D&W and Vendors.
• Interpretation of real time data for pore pressure and wellbore stability.
• Contribute to optimal well placement in accordance with the well objective.
• Responsible for daily input of G&G drilling related information.
• Responsible for capturing lessons learned during operations and experiences transferred back to well planning groups.
• Responsible for NPD final well report.
• Be active in development and implementation of new technology and work processes The Geoscientist is to ensuring safe and efficient operations and is expected to contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of work processes and tools.

Your qualifications:

• Master’s degree and 4+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years relevant experience.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
