We are looking for a Discipline Lead Electrical to work for an unmanned EPC greenfield offshore wind High-Voltage substations (HVDC) project. The right candidates will join a major new build project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within electrical system design and leadership competence in a large international project-working environment:

Job responsibilities:

•    Responsible for discipline resources, planning, interface, deliverables, scope definition, task priorities and quality
•    Together with electrical team deliver electrical philosophies, topologies, single line diagrams, load list, cable list, PMS/PDCS and EIAT-Layout.
•    Develop solutions according to Aibel AS and Client standards and requirements
•    Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for electrical discipline
•    Interface with other disciplines, contractors and client
•    Arrange and lead electrical meetings, client meetings, workshops and reviews
•    Interface with other disciplines, construction, MC, commissioning, operation, other contractors and suppliers

 
Required Education:

•    Bachelor or Master in Power Engineering
•    FSE course
 

Required Work Experience:

•    Minimum 8 years’ experience from electrical engineering in green field projects
•    Experience from leading electrical teams or discipline teams
•    Extensive knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, DNV and IEC standards 
•    Experience with electrical design for onshore or offshore substations
 

Required Qualifications:

•    Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – Both orally and in writing 
•    Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment 
•    A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently 
•    Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 
•    Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others 

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
