\nTechconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior\/Principal engineer instrumentation Bergen <\/strong>   28606<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\n•     Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
\n•    Participate in studies. 
\n•    Estimate instrumentation tasks. 
\n•    Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
\n•    Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages). 
\n•    Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility. 
\n•    Participate in pre-test\/FAT at the supplier. 
\n•    Participate in inspections onshore\/offshore. 
\n•    Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers. 
\n•    Perform as-built.<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation\/Automation Hardware.
\n•    Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in VEM.
\n•    Minimum 8 years of relevant experience from offshore and\/or onshore oil & gas projects.
\n•    Proven track record in instrumentation engineering and design.
\n•    Extensive knowledge of brownfield modifications and work on operating facilities.
\n•    Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and field equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
\n•    Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
\n•    Experience with ATEX, NORSOK, STID, ProCoSys, and ARIS.
\n•    Fluent in Norwegian and\/or English, both written and spoken
\n•    Ability to take ownership of engineering activities and support project execution from study phase through completion.  
\n•    Experience with preparatiln of tenders, tie-back developments, and metering systems is considered an advantage.<\/p>\n

\nRequired Course:
\n•    Basic EX-course
\n•    FSE high and low voltage with first aid
\n•    Offshore certificate with helivelt
\n•    Health certificate <\/p>\n
