For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Automation Engineer with solid experience in instrumentation and automation engineering for multidisciplinary industrial projects. The position is based in the Oslo area, with expected start-up in December 2026\/January 2027 and an initial assignment of approximately 12 months.<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\n•    Instrumentation and automation engineering for multidisciplinary projects
\n•    Preparation of Instrument Indexes, I\/O Lists, Instrument Data Sheets, technical requisitions and specifications
\n•    Preparation and review of Instrument Hook-up Drawings, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams and installation details
\n•    Development of Control Philosophies, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Cause & Effect Diagrams and Control Narratives
\n•    Design and engineering of DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD and SIS systems
\n•    Instrument sizing calculations for control valves, flow elements, relief devices and measurement systems
\n•    Participation in HAZOP, SIL studies, Functional Safety Assessments and Risk Reviews
\n•    Technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews and supplier coordination
\n•    Support for FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    B.Sc.\/M.Sc. in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
\n•    Norwegian or Swedish language skills will be prioritised. Fluent English is required.
\n•    Due to the expected start-up, candidates who already have the right to work in Norway will be prioritised.<\/p>\n

\nThe application deadline for this position is ASAP, but we will also consider candidates for similar or other relevant positions consecutively.<\/p>\n
