 <\/p>\n

We are looking for skilled Mechanical Technician \/ Mechanic to support a major modernization project in Oslo. The primary focus of this assignment is the installation of new signaling equipment and mechanical upgrades on metro trains. The role involves mechanical installation, modification, and integration of new components on rail vehicles while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and documentation<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\n•    Install brackets, piping supports, and other mechanical components.
\n•    Remove existing equipment and components from rail vehicles.
\n•    Install new train components, including antennas, speed sensors, and other technical equipment.
\n•    Perform mechanical modifications and retrofit activities on rolling stock.
\n•    Assist electricians with routing systems and installation pathways beneath the train.
\n•    Carry out drilling and mechanical work in aluminum car bodies and supporting structures.
\n•    Utilize technical drawings, digital tools, and 3D models during installation activities.
\n•    Complete required quality and installation documentation, including signed checklists.
\n•    Provide technical support and expertise to technicians and installers on site.
\n•    Follow all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and procedures<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    Trade Certificate \/ Vocational Qualification as a Mechanic (Fagbrev Mekaniker) or equivalent.
\n•    Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation in English.
\n•    Comfortable using digital tools and working from 3D models.
\n•    Experience with mechanical assembly, installation, or maintenance work.
\n•    Experience from rail, automotive, heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar technical environments is considered an advantage.
\n•    High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
\n•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n•    Commitment to following safety procedures and project requirements.<\/p>\n

\nJob Specifications:
