System Engineering is part of Project development Competence Centre in Projects Drilling and Procurement (PDP). We support a broad range of projects within Oil & Gas, electrification and Low Carbon Solutions, from early phase to completion. We are located in Stavanger, Oslo, Bergen, Stjørdal, Kårstø and Hammerfest. Our expert services are readily available to provide support to project portfolio. For this position, we are looking for an electrical field engineer who will participate in and follow up construction work at the Hammerfest LNG plant. The role is part of the Snøhvit Future Project, which aims to electrify the Hammerfest LNG plant and install new compression capacity to ensure continued long-term operation<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\nElectrical field engineer who will be part of the construction follow up team at the Melkøya LNG plant located in Hammerfest. Role and responsibilities 
\n•    Follow up the electrical discipline deliverables in the project 
\n•    Follow up design in accordance with relevant rules, regulations and requirements 
\n•    Align design with discipline ladder and leading advisors Implement operational requirements and experience in design 
\n•    Follow up and coordinate discipline integration with other disciplines 
\n•    Follow up discipline requirements and interfaces in procurement packages 
\n•    Look for opportunities Tasks and deliveries 
\n•    Follow-up contractor’s discipline deliverables 
\n•    Assist in preparations, verification and follow-up of procurement packages 
\n•    Technical clarifications within the discipline
\n•    Contribute to no change philosophy, and to effective handling of required changes 
\n•    Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties (RISK) 
\n•    Establish good working relations with contractor’s discipline 
\n•    Contribute to an effective and adequate Construction Team organization. 
\n•    Assist Construction Lead in daily task.
\n•    Contribute to seamless transfer from Construction phase to HUC phase. 
\n•    Assist and guide contractors in daily basis. 
\n•    Punch out of work and use Procosys for MC Ensure that change request in Construction Scope of Work is handled according to approved routines. 
\n•    Ensure ATS rental equipment are utilized in a cost-efficient manner. 
\n•    Ensure that contractor complies with preservation routines as per requirements and special in the main skill for this position. 
\n•    Contribute that the process for transfer of responsibility between Construction and Commissioning (Ready for Commissioning) is executed according to ARIS. 
\n•    Ensure Construction organization develop and comply with necessary work processes and site instruction for an effective and safe execution of the work.<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    Master or Bachelor of Science within Electrical engineering. 
\n•    Minimum 5-10 years’ relevant experience. 
\n•    Project experience from electrical design and construction. 
\n•    Multi-discipline understanding. 
\n•    Good knowledge of rules\/regulations, standards and preferably technical requirements 
\n•    Ability to work and collaborate in a team. 
\n•    High ethical standards and adherence to company’s ethical requirements 
\n•    Ability to handle high workload.
\n•    Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English<\/p>\n
