Project description
\nThe Ostwind 4 (OST-2-4) project is a grid connection for an offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The grid connection is being realized by 50Hertz. A capacity of 2 GW is to be transported onshore. The offshore grid connection, consisting of a power cable system and an offshore and onshore converter station, will connect the O-2.2 cluster with the Stilow onshore substation.<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\n•    Review of project quality documentation provided by contractors, to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards, and responding to QA related technical queries (TQs).
\n•    Specify oversight of coating and review of coating specifications
\n•    Developing, documention and roll-out all required processes
\n•    Consultancy throughout the development and approval of the ITPs, audit plans and acceptance tests
\n•    Definition and monitoring of KPI to assure an equal level of quality throughout the project
\n•    Consulting the project management team in all matters related to QA
\n•    Implementation of the client’s guidelines for quality assurance in projects
\n•    Publication and updating of ITPs and measures in order to ensure the correct implementation of the plan
\n•    Implementation of required quality measures amongst all involved companies
\n•    Informing and training of all contractors and applicable subcontractors concerning quality requirements for each party
\n•    Regular monitoring of the correct utilization of processes and guidelines by contractors and the reporting thereof
\n•    Highlight realistic possibilities to minimize quality problems
\n•    Check and summarizing of inspection reports
\n•    Definition of follow-up actions arising from quality assurance measures, the overall control reports and coordination workshops
\n•    Consulting of contractors in the area of filing non-conformity-reports (NCR) and monitoring that the documentation is complete
\n•    Tracking of NCRs
\n•    Specification, coordination and input to the as-built documentation
\n•    Approval of contractors ITPs
\n•    Reporting, analysis and recommendations
\n•    Review of quality reports
\n•    Execution of audits and documentation of observations related to the contractor's QMS<\/p>\n

Project objective of the consultancy to be used:
\nProvision of quality assurance consulting services throughout design, fabrication, and commissioning phases, including the review and assessment of QA procedures and quality documentation; planning and execution of quality audits; preparation of audit reports and documented findings; identification of non-conformities and improvement opportunities; and development of recommendations to support quality-related project decisions and ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    Degree in engineering or similar
\n•    Competency in the areas of welding and\/or protective coating is a plus (e.g. IWE, NACE, FROSIO)
\n•    Experience with risk-based management
\n•    Experience in the offshore wind business in the area of quality
\n•    Experience with jacket fabrication is a plus
\n•    German is a plus
\n•    Knowledgeable of the specific rules and regulations, e.g. Offshore Codes (BSH; DNV), HSE related codes, industry best practices
\n•    Frosio certification is a plus<\/p>\n

\nNecessary skills (Must-haves):
\n•    Degree or certificate as a Welding Engineer
\n•    NDT education
\n•    Fluent in English (mind. C1)<\/p>\n
