\nTechconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an ATEX Coordinator (MC \/ Field Support) <\/strong>28300<\/p>\n

\nJob responsibilities:
\n•    Act as the project’s main contact person and technical authority during Mechanical Completion, ensuring correct execution, inspection quality, and compliance with Ex requirements. 
\n•    The role exists to support MC\/Ex field engineers, prevent systematic Ex errors, and protect the project from late rework and compliance risk. 
\nKey Responsibilities: 
\n•    Act as main ATEX focal point of contact for all ATEX matters. 
\n•    Provide interpretation of EN\/IEC 60079, project Ex strategies, and client requirements.
\n•    Provide practical and technical Ex clarification and guidance to MC\/Ex inspectors . 
\n•    Perform spot checks of completed initial Ex inspections. 
\n•    Verify that MCCR-Z-99 checklists are correctly and fully completed. 
\n•    Communicate lessons learned across teams and sites. 
\n•    Ensure consistency between installed equipment, initial inspection records, and Ex documentation.<\/p>\n

\nYour experience and qualifications:
\n•    Understanding of Norwegian regulatory requirements (Havtil) and the ATEX directives. 
\n•    Proven competence in Ex inspection and verification in accordance with EN\/IEC 60079-14 and 60079-17. 
\n•    Ability review, validate, and challenge completed Ex inspection check sheets and identify deficiencies. 
\n•    Strong practical understanding of Ex equipment, Types of Protection, Ex Markins and installation practices. 
\n•    Experience providing hands-on technical guidance and clarification to MC\/Ex field inspectors. 
\n•    Ability to identify systematic Ex errors, initiate corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned across teams. 
\n•    Able to act as MC Field engineer Ex focal point, ensuring consistency between installation, inspection, and documentation.<\/p>\n
