Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Acoustics and Noise Control Engineer – Wisting.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Job responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Specification, evaluation and implementation of noise control and acoustic requirements in design in accordance with required noise and acoustics legislation (mostly NORSOK S-002)
\n• Specification and follow-up of noise emitting equipment packages
\n• Calculation and prediction of area noise levels using relevant software (CADNA R is our primary tool)
\n• Specification and evaluation of sound insulation and sound absorption requirements for building elements
\n• Evaluation and calculation of public address (PA) systems
\n• Cooperate and coordinate with internal and external interfaces, other project team members, subcontractors\/vendors and client personnel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• at least 5 years relevant experience within noise control engineering from the Oil & Energy, Marine or other relevant industry.
\n• Strong understanding of project execution
\n• Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to explain complicated subjects to non-specialist clients and associates
\n• Self-motivated and proactive Solution and delivery orientated
\n• Teamwork skills with the ability to work in an international environment
\n• Ability to deliver results in time and with expected quality
\n• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Some Norwegian
\n• Bachelor of Science\/Engineering
\n• Software: Cadna-R;Navisworks (3D Model tool), Microsoft office applications.<\/p>\n

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.<\/p>\n
