Job responsibilities:

• Ensure that correct and sufficient steering tools, systems, procedures, qualifications, equipment, and verifications, for performance, identification, status, traceability and final documentation of the welding work, are established implemented and followed up
• Perform QC related activities on contractor/supplier work
• Be actively involved in the welding execution phase to ensure that the visual inspection process elements are planned, coordinated, performed and reported according to project specifications, standards and ISO 3834-2 requirements
• Clarify and follow up any inconsistencies/corrective actions and holds
• Responsible for evaluating deviations and observations and proposing mitigating measures
• Ensure that operators have adequate skills in respective trades and continuously follow up on quality of installation activities
• Obtain detailed knowledge of the welding process by
• Inspection: before, during, after welding and NDT compatibility. Clarify any inconsistencies and holds internally and with Company
• Review Contractors technical documentation and requirements and ensure an adequate standard
• Follow up trough Welding Inspections that work is in accordance with current standards and requirements
• Follow up QA/QC routines and procedures for the Construction/Completion phase and follow up by site inspections including pre-fabrication site and report all non-

• Follow up QA/QC routines and procedures for the Construction/Completion phase and follow up by site inspections including pre-fabrication site and report all non-compliance, comment activities to QA-plan, audit and verification plan
• Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required
• Monitor receipt and storage of materials to ensure traceability and ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved through fabrication, installation, and hook-up
• Participate in HAZID and HAZOP and other HSEQ related reviews when required

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or Cand. Mag (180-240 ECTS) i Other
• 10-15 years of relevant experience
• Certificate of apprenticeship i Engineering or Logistics, Material & Transportation
• IWE /IWI/ NS477 or equivalent certification
• Knowledge about NDT methods, NDT certificates are advantage
• Knowledge and practice of interpretate  standards, design, construction, at least:  NORSOK M101, NORSOK M601, DNV-OS-C401, IACS, ISO 3834-2
• Understanding technical documentation
• Experience with MC/fielding work, PIMS CMS experience
• Knowledge and competence within the area of Completion
• Understanding of the project lifecycle

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
