Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a SAS/ Automation Engineer – Subsea interface

Job responsibilities:

•    Act as a SAS engineer responsible for Safety system (PSD, ESD)
•    Plan, organize and manage workload to ensure work is completed in line with project schedules
•    SAS responsible for complete FPSO safety system
•    Prepare SAS specification, Hierarchies, hardware report, software report, follow up with SAS supplier
•    Provide input for and make use of technical registers (COMOS, MIPS, Client systems, etc.) Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, and client
•    Responsible for SAS hardware testing and delivery to different interface contractors

Your qualifications:

•    Experience from Safety control system
•    Experience in SCD/ Logic diagram preparation
•    Extensive knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
•    Experience of ABB SAS hardware would be advantageous
•    Master’s degree or Bachelor`s degree
•    Minimum 10 years of engineering design experience in the offshore oil & gas industry
•    Fluent in written and spoken English
•    Knowledge in COMOS

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
